Senior Pool Attendant (Duty Manager)
Location: Tamworth NSW
THE OPPORTUNITY
Responsible to the day-to-day operation of a public swimming facility.
Work with the Pool Supervisor and staff to maintain operational safety.
Provide a high level of customer service.

The Sports & Recreation Services Division of Tamworth Regional Council is responsible for the management of public aquatic facilities across the Region. We are seeking the services of a friendly team player with an eye for detail, motivation and experience in the day-to-day supervision of public aquatic facilities.
Senior Pool Attendant (Duty Manager) is responsible for:
Understanding the facilities operating environment including pool supervision, water safety and education, first aid, resuscitation and rescue techniques
Providing staff supervision
Working and communicating effectively with others
Identifying, analysing and resolving problems
Delivering a service to customers
Understanding and carrying out instructions
Providing effective caretaking of facility including cleaning
Monitoring and maintaining a safe workplace
Using a range of Microsoft Office programs
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
Current Pool Lifeguard Licence
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Oxygen Resuscitation Certificate
Driver Licence
Working with Children Check
WHS Construction Induction Card
Willingness to undergo Immunisations Tetanus, Hepatitis A & B

Salary range: Grade 8 - $1,116.30 - $1,208.00 per week excluding superannuation for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.
