New ROADS is a supportive team of professionals providing holistic and innovative Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) and comorbidity services. We provide 1:1 counselling, group work, case management and residential rehabilitation across our services.
The New ROADS Senior Practitioner role incorporates a diverse mix of responsibilities including:
- Undertake client centered coaching and supervision to New ROADS staff
- Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to be on call over a rotating roster
- Evaluate service delivery processes, propose, develop and implement improvements
- Be willing to Travel to Regional areas to promote service access, delivery and networking along with Supervision and support our regional Teams
1x Full Time Permanent role
1x 12 Month Fixed Term Maternity Leave role
About You
You will have professional experience in case work of AOD, co-morbidity, addiction and homelessness issues, demonstrated experience leading, coaching and mentoring a team, the ability to evaluate outcomes against expectations and experience engaging staff and building a positive working environment.
- Empathetic and committed to reducing stigma around mental health and AOD issues and a passion for helping your community.
- You excel in engaging with teams, communicating clearly, and providing direction that strengthens team performance.
- Experience in managing individual and team performance, working towards continuous improvement and ongoing development.
