Your new role
Act as a dedicated resource to professional referrers referring to The Orange Door NEMA, supporting the development of their confidence and expertise over time.
This will include:
- working ‘one-on-one' with referrers and working with groups of referrers to build confidence and capacity.
- enabling professional referrers to confidently support their own clients experiencing family violence and/or child and family vulnerability
- supporting professionals to refer clients to The Orange Door where appropriate
- upskilling other sectors (eg education, mental health) about child wellbeing and the impact of family violence on children.
About you
- You have a minimum of 3 years' experience working with women and children victim-survivors of family violence and those family's requiring assistance with the care and wellbeing needs of children and young people.
- Advanced knowledge and experience working in clinical roles in family violence AND child and family vulnerability.
- Sound understanding of the MARAM framework and sector obligations.
- Sound understanding of the family violence and child wellbeing system, and referral options for clients.
- Demonstrated capability to network and build productive relationships and partnerships with others both inside and outside organisational boundaries
- Highly developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
