Position Overview:
A prominent Perth-based construction business is seeking a talented Business Analyst to join their team. This role focuses on understanding business needs, analyzing processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Systems and Business analysis.
- Project Co-ordination.
- Quality Assurance including writing test plans and performing testing.
- Writing business specifications.
- Analyze user requests for system modification/enhancement.
- Change/enhancement requests – solutions must incorporate consideration of all areas of the system that are affected.
- Document and prioritize errors for programming fixes.
- Coordinate or conduct User Acceptance Testing.
- Investigate requests which can be technical, business process or both.
- Obtain a full understanding of requests and provide solution options and / or recommendations.
Key Result Areas:
- Preparation of business specifications to guide programmers in creating.
- modifications/additions to existing systems for implementing desired changes.
- Specifications should include Business Requirements, Processing Requirements, Data Requirements and co-ordination with other functional specifications.
- Plan, write and execute system test plans to assure that all modifications/enhancements work as expected.
- Contribute to base data for use in system and regression testing.
- Provide solution options and / or recommendations where appropriate for incoming requests.
