Due to our exponential growth, we are hiring in our General Insurance Life Team. Our Australian Gen Re Life team is seeking to appoint a Pricing Actuary or Senior Pricing Actuary who is looking for the next step in their career.
Your Role
As a Pricing Actuary or Senior Pricing Actuary, you will be responsible for pricing Group and Retail business, including new business opportunities and product reviews, developing sustainable solutions and recommendations for final pricing. You will have an analytical mindset with the ability to work independently but collaboratively in a team of pricing actuaries.
Your role will report to the Regional Chief Actuary and will work closely with the wider Gen Re Life team both in Australia and overseas. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an innovative team where your contribution is valued, and your career development is important to the business.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting Retail and Group reinsurance quotation exercises
- Maintenance of terms of trade
- Developing commercially astute recommendations
- Driving and supporting pricing approval processes
- Improving pricing models
Your Profile
- Ability to present recommendations clearly and succinctly to a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to manage small project teams
- Demonstrated Life Insurance market and product knowledge
- Strong relationship building and networking skills
- Excellent social and communication skills
