SalaryOur general insurance client is seeking a senior actuarial analyst to join their team working on personal lines pricing. This role is based in Sydney.
About the role
- Perform and lead data-driven analyses to achieve profitable growth through pricing.
- Recommend changes to premium rates as required and assess the impact of pricing on key profit drivers and performance metrics.
- Implement pricing changes in a precise and timely manner.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on business performance through regular reporting.
- Contribute to continuous automation and process improvements throughout the business.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across all internal and external stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in actuarial studies.
- 2-5 years of actuarial experience in the general insurance industry with personal lines pricing experience desirable.
- Experience in using programming languages such as (SAS/R/Python).
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to communicate technical concepts and outcomes in a simple way.
