- Skilled in the use of technical database and reporting applications (SQL/SAS and Tableau preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge and understanding of motor trades and commercial insurance packages.
- Ability to read, understand and analyse insurance policy wordings.
- Knowledge and understanding of reinsurance arrangements.
- At least five years' experience in a business analyst, portfolio analyst, underwriting or product development role within an insurance company or alternative.
- Insurance industry experience.
- Formal qualifications in data, statistics, or actuarial studies (desirable but not essential).
