Due to our continued growth and expanding project pipeline, there is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Statutory Planner to join our APAC Planning team in Brisbane. Our team is made up of a group of highly skilled and motivated Planners with an enthusiastic approach to life and work. We currently service a pipeline of energy transition, commercial, industrial and health projects.
Our modern Brisbane office boasts incredible bridge and river views and is home to over 120 technical experts across multiple disciplines. We work in a flexible office environment and pride ourselves on our relaxed and positive culture, regular social events and positive client feedback.
Responsibilities
As a crucial member of our expanding QLD Planning team your role will see you undertake:
- Planning analysis and research delivering exceptional results
- Managing projects without direct supervision
- Draw from SLR’s large client pool and your own network you will liaise with clients, councils, consultants & other government agencies
- Compile statutory approval and permit DA's and major project packages
- Working across multi-disciplinary projects within a consulting environment
- Business development and high-level client relationship management
Experience
Not only will you bring a great attitude and enthusiastic approach to your work, you will also have:
- A degree in town planning (Bachelors minimum, Masters advantageous)
- As an experienced Planner you will have 8-15 years working experience within a consulting business with direct experience in a town planning, property and development.
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to work across multiple sectors (Infrastructure, Commercial, Health, Renewables and Energy Transition) and on interstate projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to function effectively within a friendly, supportive and high performing team
