Our clients who we hold in high regard, a renowned engineering consultancy with a large footprint and a stronghold in Australia and the South Pacific, are seeking an individual to take on the role of Urban Development Lead in Brisbane. This role is perfect for the senior / principal engineer looking to move to a role where they can make large scale impact.

They have some landmark projects within their portfolio, working with some well-known clients and now looking to grow that portfolio even more, by taking on someone in a leadership role.
The Role:
As the Urban Development Lead, you'll be in the captain’s seat of business development, spearheading efforts to secure projects and engage with clients. You'll oversee a team of 20 professionals, ensuring their growth and cohesion, all while preparing for progression into a General Manager position with profit sharing and shareholding opportunities.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Extensive experience in the Urban Development sector, successfully overlooking a team.
- 10+ years of experience in the sector and with team management.
- Proficiency in Stormwater Drainage, Earthworks, Road Design, subdivision design and Urban Development.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging new clients, existing client engagement and team collaboration.
- Deep understanding of local standards and systems, including those of local councils and relevant authorities.
- Proven track record in developing and nurturing client relationships.
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) / National Engineer Register (NER) is desired.
- Strong leadership and time-management skills.
- Ability to foster a collaborative environment and work within a diverse team.
