The ANZ Private Office team caters to ANZ's highest net worth individuals and family groups, assisting them to manage, grow and preserve their wealth. We provide our clients with a personalised relationship and holistic solutions tailored to their values, aspirations, needs and their financial situation.

In this role based in the Sydney CBD you will be the primary relationship contact responsible for a portfolio of Private Office clients. Your role will provide timely and efficient execution of relevant solutions across banking and wealth solutions to these clients and you will work collaboratively with them to navigate ANZ, in order to provide accurate and efficient solutions to their specific needs. As the Senior Private Banker, you will run the portfolio in a risk aware, client centric manner. Collaboration will also be required with Specialists, Lending Team, CST, other Private Bank segments, and importantly other ANZ business units in order to fully meet client needs.

What will your day look like

Your key accountabilities would be but not limited to:

Financial:

  • Retention of banking funds and effective margin management for client groups on set.
  • Mitigate financial risks to the business, minimising any credit losses/exposure.
  • Deliver revenue growth and meet financial targets as necessary

Customer:

  • Ensuring the delivery of an engaging client experience with ANZ Private Office in response to client need.
  • Fair, honest & efficient customer interactions
  • Comprehensive, timely & transparent decision-making
  • Introduce the right ANZ Private and broader ANZ specialist / segment to support client needs as they arise.

Process:

  • Keep abreast of key economic trends impacting the industry.
  • Keep abreast of the evolution of banking client self-service options and educate clients as they have needs.
  • Ensure lending is suitable and compliant and all decisions are communicated quickly.
  • Ensure appropriate and consistent governance across the set whilst maintaining strong transaction execution.
  • When the client has a need, match the right solution, product or service to that need.
  • Use of client relationship tools and infrastructure to provide a consistent client experience when executing on client needs.

People:

  • Work as a team collaboratively
  • Work with Private Bank Support, Lending and other Specialists to execute effectively on client needs.
  • Engage broader business through collaboration and knowledge/success sharing.
  • Embraces change initiatives
  • Takes responsibility for own development
  • Embraces all coaching received and seeks regular feedback from manager and peers

Risk, compliance, & behaviours

  • Mandatory compliance training completed.
  • Ensure the business operates in a compliant and ‘no surprises’ environment.
  • Adherence to regulatory, audit and internal compliance policies.
  • Ensure all complaints are loaded into system and treated in accordance with regulatory obligations.
  • Maintain CAD
