AddressThe position is within their Technical Projects team. Working in a multi disciplined environment to support various brownfields projects, the role includes:
-Ensuring that process designs for Brownfield Projects for Chevron’s onshore/offshore facilities, including marine facilities, meet BU specifications and applicable Codes/Standards
-Working closely with the Lead Process Engineer and interface with other disciplines to ensure design quality and successful outcomes, including interfacing with discipline SMEs and/or TAs to address complex issues or specification compliance queries.
-Able to communicate effectively to key stakeholders
Undertake, including assurance of such when developed by 3rd Parties, the following activities:
- Development of technical solutions, with a focus on optimizing value / outcomes during Phase 2
- Development, checking and approval of a wide variety of discipline deliverables
- Development and checking of calculations / analyses / simulations
- Functional Review of MOCs
- Provision of technical expertise on discipline design principles
- Input to RFP/RFQs and review of technical bid packages
Top 3 Must have skills:
Previous experience working in a complex oil and gas facility, works well in a team and has a keen sense of logic and reasoning that helps to evaluate different options, weigh the pros and cons, and make sound decisions
