ABOUT THE POSITION
Our business seeks an experienced Senior Engineer Process to join our team on a two-year fixed term full-time basis, working at our Kwinana Refinery on a family-friendly Monday to Friday roster.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and managing the process design.

We are looking for someone who establishes clear direction and is well-planned and organised.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage the process design, mass, and energy balance of the plant.
- Develop plant operating procedures.
- Contribute to developing the detailed production plan.
- Analyse and optimise production.
- Accountable for regular production reporting on all timelines as well as providing production and inventory data for financial reporting.
- Responsible for improving operation performance via process improvement and capital projects, and for completing process engineering requirements to that end.
- Manage team health and safety and process safety.
- Ensure environmental compliance with license condition.
- Fulfil a leadership role in implementing process safety principles.
- Develop production and materials strategies.
- Define manufacturing goals.
- Define plant capacities and identify constraints.
- Schedule production.
- Model and simulate plant.
- Generate detailed schedule.
- Prepare reports and submit to management.
- Develop quality standards and procedures.
- Produce/Manufacture/Deliver product.
- Monitor and optimise production process.
- Assess production performance.
- Track and analyse non‑conformance trends.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost control for the plant.
- Determine key cost drivers.
- Perform capital planning.
- Manage business risk.
- Manage Product quality.
- Manage change initiatives as required.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years professional experience within the industry or similar.
- Operating and design experience in similar refinery processes.
- Committed and practical approach to safety and wellbeing of all staff.
- A champion for continuous improvement for all operational processes.
- Bachelor degree or higher (Chemical Engineer)
- Experience in leading process engineering teams in operations/design.
