AddressMACA Interquip Mintrex is currently seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to work "hands on" across EPC & EPCM mining construction projects at our West Perth office.
The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for the provision of procurement and purchasing services along with logistical support to facilitate end to end procurement. They ensure all necessary internal documentation is completed to facilitate a procurement or purchasing request and ensure that appropriate commercial review has occurred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review purchase requests, ensure appropriate documentation has been included.
- Engage with Commercial team to assess appropriateness of terms and ensure acceptable risk appetite.
- Liaison with Document Control to ensure appropriate record keeping specific to purchase.
- Create and issue Purchase Orders and/or contracts and manage through to delivery.
- Maintain registers specific to procurement.
- Manage logistical elements of procurement.
- Undertake expediting, assurance and quality checks as required.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Undertake tender processes.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics to ensure proper storage and transport of goods.
- Assist with development of process and policy to ensure value for money and risk mitigation within the procurement function.
- Provide support to internal functions and training as required to assist the organisation in adhering to internal governance and statutory requirements.
- Assist and facilitate supplier onboarding processes.
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external contacts as appropriate.
