About the role: 

In accordance with the PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA (PathWest) Procurement and Contract Management (PCM) Framework, the Procurement and Contracts Officer is responsible for:

  • the provision of an advisory and support service to PathWest disciplines and business areas in relation to the development and management of commercial contracts; and
  • the development and management of allocated medium risk/complexity contracts in accordance with organisational requirements.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
