As the Senior Procurement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in our organisation. You will provide leadership across all tender and contractual matters, ensuring they are properly negotiated, evaluated, documented, and implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project package scopes, identify and progress new contract opportunities, and re-draft/update existing contracts.
- Oversee the tender process from development, evaluation, review, and formation to day-to-day contract management.
- Provide strategic advice on contract management activities, issues, and variations.
- Promote and monitor compliance with contract management procedures and requirements.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on the compliance of service providers.
- Provide procurement advice internally and externally across the business.
- Liaise with contractors and key stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Monitor compliance with all Acts, Regulations, policies, and standards applicable to the services provided.
- Develop and mentor team members as required.
About You:
- Minimum of 5+ years of previous experience in a similar role within the mining or construction industry.
- Experience with procurement bills of materials inclusive of goods, materials, services, and supplier qualification and management.
- Experience operating an ERP system to create Purchase Orders, Purchase
- Requisitions, and associated invoices.
- National Police Clearance.
- C Class Manual Drivers License.
