Job description

THE BRAND

Founded in 2017 by Creative Director Richard Jarman, COMMAS visualises a contemporary Australian seaside culture. One with effortless silhouettes, original painted prints, and a sophisticated free flow of comfortable and dynamic designs.

The name COMMAS represents a purposeful pause, a reminder to catch your breath, to recalibrate, and take pleasure in the moment.

COMMAS was the first swimwear brand to represent Australia at Pitti Uomo in 2017, it was named the number one swimwear brand of choice by Vogue Paris in 2020, and in 2021, Creative Director Richard Jarman was awarded Emerging Designer of the Year at the Australian Fashion Laureate, the fashion industry’s highest award honours, alongside the National Designer Award and Honourable Mention for Sustainability.

COMMAS believes in responsible business practices, community, and craftsmanship. Our graphic printed designs are from original hand painted artworks, each garment is handcrafted using family-owned factories and mills across the world.
