The Identity Assurance team, formerly known as Proof of Identity, stands at the forefront of over 100 transactions within Service NSW and serves as the core of Digital Identity within the DIVC (Digital Identity and Verifiable Credentials) Portfolio. We are actively seeking individuals who are motivated and proactive to contribute to our team's success.
Being a Senior Product Engineer with Service NSW
As a Senior Product Engineer with the Identity Assurance team, you will be involved in:
- Work on the development of the Identity Assurance platform for DIVC including our Fraud Detection And Prevention (FDPS) platform
- Implementing standard risk assessment patterns to reduce complexity and speed up development of other product teams relying on the risk assessment as part of their transaction
- Assisting the product manager and designers in setting the priorities, delegation of tasks to team members and reporting on progress
- Responding to customer queries and concerns in a timely fashion
- Liaising with other product teams to ensure integration and reliable operation of the Identity Assurance platform as part of the bigger end-to-end transactions
- Providing support in system acceptance testing and validation activities
What you will being to this role
- Expertise and experience in Software Engineering. You will have full stack experience with:
- Vue, React, or Angular for Frontend
- Node.js for Backend
- API’s and microservices
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices
- Some knowledge about secure coding practices
- The following experience is not required but will set you apart from the crowd:
- AWS Aurora/MySQL
- Gitlab CI/CD
- Apigee
- K8S
- Helm Charts
- Splunk
- Knowledge and experience about fraud prevention frameworks and strategies
