About the role:
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the development and commercialization of new products and services for Alinta Energy, with a focus on Retention. They will define product requirements, develop prototypes, and launch new products to market, in line with defined customer value propositions for priority segments, and in consultation with key stakeholders in Customer Engagement, Marketing and Go-To-Market.
In this role, you’ll be:
- Developing product specifications and prototypes- through build, buy or partner pathways
- Managing the product lifecycle, from ideation to retirement, tracking product performance and making necessary adjustments to improve customer appeal and profitability
- In partnership with Product Strategy, gathering and analysing market data to identify strategic growth opportunities within segments and product, across existing and emerging segment customers
- Adapting product strategy in line with emerging market trends to maintain and enhance product relevance in a changing market
Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in management, marketing, business or a related discipline combined with extensive experience in product/segment management
- Strong marketing and product/segment management experience
- Customer-centric
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships across multiple business areas and levels of the business
- Business acumen and highly developed financial and business management skills
