Major State Government Organization looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager

About your Organization
You will be part of a well established State Government Organization to improve everyone’s experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian Government. Their vision is to accelerate digital transformation and corporate reform by bringing important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for all Victorians and businesses. They are progressing work to connect and digitise our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.
Your new role
- You will have technical expertise in Salesforce and use of Jira (User Stories)
- You will be part of the uplift of the Program and and to end program management
- Product Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with the project objectives and organisational goals.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of product releases and updates.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including the General Manager RTBA, RTBA SMEs, external vendors, and internal teams, to gather requirements, provide updates, and solicit feedback on product features and enhancements.
- Product Performance and Optimisation: Monitor product performance and key metrics, conduct data analysis, and gather insights to identify opportunities for optimisation and enhancement.
- Support business needs as required and undertake any other tasks broadly inline with this position description as specified by your manager.
- Product Management Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in product management methodologies and best practices, with a track record of successfully launching and managing digital products or services throughout the product lifecycle.
- Product Analytics and Metrics: Proficiency in utilising product analytics tools and methodologies to track, measure, and analyse product performance metrics.
- User Experience (UX) Design: Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and methodologies, with the ability to collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences.
