We are looking for a dedicated team player who values, slow fashion, and is an organisational powerhouse, to work within our small and close knit team in our office in Brunswick. You will lead a team of two, and you will be responsible for the production of our clothing, footwear and accessories from design to delivery.
We anticipate this role to be a full time role, however we are open to negotiate part time for the right person.
Position Summary :
The Production Manager is to be “hands on” in both the production and design departments. They are responsible for coordinating with suppliers, makers and Kuwaii teams to facilitate the entire production & sampling process. Their primary focus is to ensure the delivery of all product on schedule with exceptional quality while maintaining the integrity of our products as set forth by the Designer. They will also work closely with the design team to efficiently and consistently produce new collections, being responsible for sample development and timely delivery of new seasons. We are looking for someone who is hands on, and can also sew and pattern make to at least basic level. You will lead a small team of 2 and the QC process.
Key Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production coordination within the fashion apparel industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, textiles, and garment construction.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excel skills must be highly proficient and no less than Level 3
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in fashion production is a plus.

- Collaborating with the design team, makers, and manufacturers to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely delivery of our pieces.
- Managing and monitoring the production timeline to meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Creating and following critical path
- Conducting quality control inspections to maintain the our quality standards
- Collaborating with teams to streamline communication and processes
- Being across our transition to Ethical Clothing Accreditation
