AddressPERSOLKELLY are working with a client who is looking to appoint a Senior Human Resources Advisor. Supporting a national multifaceted company with many divisions - this is not a role for someone looking to put their feet up!
- Full-time, Permanent position
- Wangara location with WFH 2 Days per week
- $130,000 + Super
The Role
A key focus of this position is cultivating trusted relationships with our management team, influencing, coaching, and upskilling leaders to enhance overall employee engagement within a positive values-based workplace culture that acknowledges the commitment of each employee to our success.
- Offer guidance on workplace issues, performance improvement, management, or discipline.
- Provide advice to nurture a constructive culture of consistency and fairness, actively contributing to a positive employee experience and engagement.
- Support managers through investigations or grievance activities.
- Assist in interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Award entitlements terms and conditions in a dynamic workplace relations environment.
- Cultivate employee relations with various generalist responsibilities.
- Provide senior technical support on employment matters, including remuneration, redundancy, terminations, benefits, right of entry, and resolution of emerging issues.
- Serve as an escalation point for HR advisors or recruiters for internal development
- Assist in supplying HR-related information and documentation for tendering and bidding.
- Contribute to projects, procedures, and policies supporting innovative HR initiatives that reinforce our EVP and culture
Skills and Experience required
- A genuine enthusiasm to work together to develop and contribute to our clients' people strategy.
- A commitment to driving exceptional employee experiences throughout the employment lifecycle.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, building trust and credibility to influence positive outcomes.
- Hold an HR qualification with proven experience in an ER and IR role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Possess well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, managing multiple tasks and prioritising to meet deadlines
- Ability to always uphold a high degree of confidentiality.
