PERSOLKELLY have partnered with a government owned client seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join their team on a 18 month full time contract.
About the role:
As a true HR Generalist, you will support line managers with operational support across people processes.
- Provide high-level advice on HR matters, including employee relations, workforce planning, change management, performance, diversity and equity, recruitment, injury & illness management.
- Work collaboratively to deliver consistent, high-quality support for line managers throughout the employee life cycle.
- Provide practical coaching to enhance leadership performance, and to ensure line managers understand and adhere to people management processes.
- Offer valuable insights in reporting, analytics, culture, projects, and communications to enhance the People & Culture function.
- Develop and maintain people and culture priorities, aligning with best practices and strategic planning. Promote adaptability and continuous improvement through people planning activities.
Qualities that will make you successful:
- Relevant postgraduate qualification and extensive experience, or a senior HR advisory role with significant experience in large, complex organisations.
- Excel in establishing effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Able to apply critical thinking to navigate various facets of people management, policy reviews, and performance metrics.
- Drive and implement transformative change in complex, rapidly evolving environments.
- Present complex ideas and plans with clarity and persuasion, focusing on tangible business improvements.
- Interpret, review, and apply employment conditions, HR policies, and procedures effectively.
- Utilise reporting, data, and analytics to offer valuable insights for both operational and strategic workforce considerations.
- Work independently, taking ownership of actions, while fostering a collaborative team environment.
