THE ROLE
Working in the Children and Families Digital System Reform Team in the Priority Service Design Projects Branch, this position will be responsible for supporting policy enhancement, policy development, and change management processes for the Child Protection workforce as part of the Digital Opportunities program of work.
The Digital Opportunities Project was developed to immediately address existing deficiencies in the Integrated Client and Case Management System (ICCMS), comprised of CRIS, CRISSP and FERIS, together with work to develop a long-term technology solution. Immediate system enhancements include automating processes to ensure data is up-to-date across different platforms, better connecting systems so data can be displayed in one consolidated view, and making data entry simpler.
The position will have program development responsibilities, require high-level is written and verbal communication skills, stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to be responsive to tasks, including the provision of high-level responses in a timely manner and will be required to contribute to a variety of work priorities within the unit.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
* Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
* Undertaking research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
* Managing projects or sub-projects and being accountable for the successful delivery and completion of the projects/sub-projects within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
* Monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
* Provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
