Job Description
Support the Services and Capital Funding team in the monitoring and reporting of government funded capital grant programs across Victoria including:
- Monthly compliance reporting to regulatory bodies including the monitoring and reporting of government funded capital grant programs for schools across Victoria
- Liaison directly with key stakeholders and other school governing and sector bodies to communicate the compliance requirements of capital funding
- Supporting the evaluation and monitoring of funded programs by liaising with external stakeholders and vendors to obtain key project information
Drive the collation and analysis of grant data to establish an evidence base for the evaluation and preparation of correspondence and reporting associated with the funded programs.
Contribute to the preparation of briefings, letters, presentations, and other material to support communications and engagement related to capital funding.
Support educational offices to meet the conditions of funding for all school infrastructure projects in receipt of capital funding from State or Federal funding programs.
Provide general data/application administrative support to the wider capital program team including inputs to relevant committees and board.
The Successful Applicant
- Understanding of Capital Grant funded programs and their supporting frameworks.
- Strong business communication and partnering skills to be able to build effective and trusting relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders in education, government, regulatory and other
- representative bodies.
- Demonstrated experience of managing a portfolio of funded/capital projects to ensure compliance in monitoring and evaluation and to provide information and guidance to stakeholders.
- Motivated and resourceful with the ability to initiate and develop administrative systems to support the administration of government funded Capital Programs.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team as well as to work independently and use own initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to function in occasionally time-pressured situations. This may include provision of support to external agencies and sector bodies.
- Extensive knowledge and experience using Microsoft Software packages, web-based products and internal Network systems and databases.
