About the Role
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Project Controller in either Adelaide or Brisbane for Downer's Industrial Energy business unit reporting into the Lead Project Controls. This position will see the successful individual managing, monitoring, and reporting on performance of jobs and/or projects to maximise contract performance, whilst providing general project control support to the operation as required.

• Implementation of digital Project Controls for internal and external reporting requirements
• Liaise with I&E project control leads to ensure IG project control solutions meet all Downer governance requirements
• Partner with relevant operations/project managers to ensure standard controls & tools are implemented on their contracts
• Assisting with all internal and external quality audits
• Thoroughly understand the contract scope, obligations and entitlements
• Assisting with any financial claim process plus financial forecast reports, incorporating overall project/contract performance

About You

• Tertiary or trade qualified with relevant experience in major maintenance and mechanical/electrical projects
• Willing to travel and spend short periods on site or other Downer offices as per business requirements
• Excellent knowledge of shutdowns and maintenance contracts along with cash flow management and forecasting
• Advanced proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, Excel, Synchro and Power BI is preferred
• High level of interpersonal skills with experience in negotiation, problem solving and customer service dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
• Results orientated individual with the ability to work well under pressure
