Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Project Controls Analyst to join their team in Alice Springs, NT - Australia.

The Position
Project Controls provides the tools and systems necessary to effectively and proactively manage, control and report on cost and schedule for concurrent projects throughout the organization.
The Senior Project Controls Analyst is responsible for demonstrating technical ability in either Planning/Scheduling or Cost Analysis and responsible for supporting a range of schedule, cost and scope tracking and management tasks.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyse schedule and cost data to track the performance of projects. Manage project cost and schedule review meetings.
Integrate cost, schedule and reporting data with the company's accounting and management information systems to facilitate meeting company performance and financial goals.
Assist in managing proposals from receipt through to customer award. This includes participating in scoping activities, tender document development and bid assessments.
Develop work breakdown structures and help ensure that project coding is effectively used for all cornerstone applications.
Review performance trends, prepares analysis, cost impact and monthly project performance reports. Recommend contractor invoices for approval.
Evaluate labor hours and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations.
Oversee the production and maintenance of accurate project schedules. Expert understanding of schedule resource loading and levelling. Develop, analyse and troubleshoot complex schedule logic relationships.
Develop and maintain project control systems. Assume responsibility for correct implementation. Review and assess raw data from project systems.
Ensure that a tracking database is developed and maintained to cross check subcontractor funding is aligned with work authorisation and expenditures.
Review project change orders and ensure compliance with company/project policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all environmental health and safety requirements.
Any other reasonable duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Essential
- Bachelor's degree Engineering, Construction, Project Management or other relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.

- Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2 etc.)

EXPERIENCE - Minimum Essential
- 5 years - demonstrated relative experience applicable in field of operations, maintenance, and construction or engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to manage both subcontractors and consultants.
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience and understanding of schedule, scope and budget management.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with a client and complex matrix of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical information and generate technical reports.
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to plan projects in line with predicted operational requirements.
- Knowledge of US power standards as well as electrical/power project delivery is preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift up to 10 kg independently.
- Able to coordinate the actions of a small team.
- Demonstrated preparedness to step up and take charge.
