The Program is responding to changes in the industries and businesses of Western Sydney to deliver impact for them through research commercialisation, support for new ventures and industry-led educational programs. The Transformation Program is a bold program consisting of six strategic initiatives, approved by the Board of Trustees, to transform the way the University connects with, and responds to the changing needs of our staff, students and community. About the RoleOffice of Strategy, Performance and Risk is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Project Coordinator.The Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for the provision of high-level project support to the Transformation Program and associated projects and initiatives. The position will provide overall coordination support and will assist with the support, management and documentation of key projects and initiatives. The position will support project and program management activities including risk management, project reporting, scheduling, progress monitoring and cost control.The position will also assist in drafting key communication documents such as executive papers, summaries, reports and presentations for senior staff and various stakeholders.This is a full-time, fixed-term position till May 2025 based at Westerns Hawkesbury Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.About youThe successful candidate will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in business or project management, including business improvement and change.
Demonstrated experience in project management, including administration, management, and support for project delivery.
High-level oral and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across various staff levels.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to manage competing priorities and develop effective solutions.
Proficiency in analysing data and writing concise reports.
Ability to maintain diplomatic and discreet relationships, particularly when handling sensitive and confidential matters.
