The OpportunityReporting into the Project Manager, the Senior Project Engineer is accountable for delivering projects with low complexity or sub-sections of larger more complex projects to meet agreed cost, schedule and quality goals while ensuring zero harm to people and the environment.
Your Impact will beAs a member of the Energy Projects team, the role’s purpose is to drive the performance through supporting early stages of development of new growth projects, direct delivery of some projects, support / mentoring of site teams, portfolio management, governance / assurance against the PMGS framework. Responsibilities includeWork with external & internal stakeholders to develop scopes of work
Monitor & manage the execution of scopes in compliance with plans
Manage the Projects compliance with the requirements of EA’s Project Management Governance System (PMGS) and other procedures and requirements
Support communication within project team and internal stakeholders including SteerCo including the preparation of required communication packs.
Assist with peer reviews and functional assurance of other projects
About YouDegree in engineering or related field and appropriate and at least 5 - 7 years industry experience in a related field
Strong understanding of design and construction processes
Commercial understanding and ability to work with commercial and legal teams to optimise outcomes
Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to co-ordinate complex interfaces
