Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.BenefitsBase Salary + Super + Vehicle and Annual BonusesGreat opportunity for career growth & development with a Tier 1 contractorAwarded Top Employer 2024Diverse long term project with dynamic engineering teamAbout the Project & Opportunity:Acciona with our JV partner Georgiou has been awarded the Design & Construct contract to deliver the Hope Island Train Station as part of the Cross River Rail network.As a result, we're currently recruiting a full-time, permanent Senior Project Engineer to oversee and manage construction of the Station Building to achieve the delivery of this fantastic project.Reporting to our Construction Manager, the scope of the role will see you:Work with our design teams to provide overall feedback and constructability reviewsLead and manage a team of experienced engineers;Support and provide technical assistance to our supervisors and superintendentsOversee and manage the procurement of plant, equipment and resources;Conduct short- and medium-term planning;Provide regular reporting including end of month cost reviews and reporting;Work with our project controls team to provide feedback or works completed and upcoming works planningEnsure overall quality management including all necessary documentation;Work collaboratively with our internal stakeholders, subcontractors and local community groups to achieve a best for project and best for community outcome.Competencies we are after: Great people skills and the ability to build trust is a must backed by strong communications skills.You may also have: Experience in concrete structures or buildingA tertiary qualification in engineering or equivalentExperience influencing and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders to achieve outcomes whilst develop strong working relationships.Apply Now!
