This role is an excellent opportunity for a driven, enthusiastic individual looking to progress their career within a supportive team environment, managing the project throughout the entire project life cycle from feasibility, capital funding and onsite implementation.

Requirements for the role:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
- Formal Project management training (Mandatory).
- Minimum of 10 years experience (Mandatory).
- Rio Tinto inducted (not essential)
- Experience leading direct reports
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Proficiency in intermediate MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera P6.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively take initiative, and a strong drive to achieve results.
- Prior experience in the mining and construction industry, particularly with a background in fixed plant projects, is highly valued.
- Proficiency in shutdown planning and job task sequencing is also highly regarded.
- While experience in contractor and sub-contractor management is beneficial, it is not obligatory.
- Proven experience in managing consultants during engineering design phases is beneficial.
- Familiarity with reviewing resource-loaded schedules is an additional asset.
