The Role: Senior Project Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Collie, Western Australia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and executing engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Operating on a two-week on and one-week off roster, this position offers a unique balance of challenging work and personal time.
This is a full time 2:1 DIDO roster from Perth to Collie.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, execution, and completion in accordance with established objectives and timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout all project phases, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and ensure safety compliance.
- Monitor project progress, resource utilisation, and budget allocations to maintain cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate project status, outcomes, and recommendations to stakeholders.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (minimum 7 years) in Project Engineering or management roles, preferably in the energy or civil construction sector.
- Strong technical knowledge in engineering principles, construction practices, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, CAD software).
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving complex engineering challenges.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) will be advantageous.
