Senior Project Engineer Georgiou Group has partnered with ACCIONA Construction Australia in a joint venture to deliver a new train station located in Hope Island on the Gold Coast. The Hope Island Station will form part of the Cross River Rail New Gold Coast Stations program. The project will involve construction of a new station structure, car park, intersection upgrades and associated services. You will have the opportunity to take on a multi-disciplined and exciting role in delivering a key piece of infrastructure for the Gold Coast community. What we're good at? What you're good at:You're an engaged, focused and driven leader with high standards of work. Someone with:Strong and demonstrated experience in Project Engineering and a working knowledge of project managementStrong prior project experience in bridges, structures, substantial lifts, FRP and concrete decks. Prior experience on Rail projects highly regarded. Competent in planning and organising work schedules and a demonstrated ability to deliver to timelinesProven experience in Project Engineering with project management knowledge and understanding with experience in the construction engineering sectorAbility to provide active professional direction to supervise management of works contracts, monitor contractor progress and effectively negotiate variations, claims and other issuesAbility to anticipate, identify and respond to project risks and issues.
