The purpose of the TasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of quality capital works projects for TasWater that will meet the needs of TasWater's business, their stakeholders and the communities of Tasmania for years to come. The TasWater CDO manages the TasWater Capital Works Program from inception to completion including the planning, design, procurement, and delivery phases.

We are proud of our great team here at TasWater (CDO) and are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Project Engineer who will contribute to the development and delivery of our upcoming long term TasWater CDO projects. Our projects are based across the state of Tasmania, some including the Selfs Point Sewage Treatment Plant Expansion Project, Tamar Estuary River Health Action Plan Project (TERHAP), Bicheno Recycled Water Scheme. Regional Towns Water Supply Project, Smithton Sewage Pump Station Upgrade & Pet Dam Safety Upgrade.
This exciting role is for the Selfs Point Sewerage treatment Plant Expansion Project and is based in Hobart. Should you need to relocate to Tasmania to take up the opportunity with us, relocation assistance is available.
About the project:
As part of TasWater's commitment to investing in new and improved sewage infrastructure to cater for Hobart's future growth, we are delivering one of our most significant projects to date.
This project combines the following 4 separate, but interconnected projects:
- Selfs Point Sewage Treatment Plant Expansion, near New Town Bay
- Macquarie Point to Selfs Point pipeline
- New Macquarie Point Sewage Pump Station
- Decommissioning of the existing Macquarie Point Sewage Treatment Plant.
