The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with a facilities engineering background, to provide Project Engineering management and contribute to the growth of Momentum's business.
As a Senior Project Engineer at Momentum you will work on projects critical to current and future energy needs including:
- Brownfield modifications of offshore assets to ensure future reliable operation
- Renewable hydrogen project development
- Compression stations to ensure Australian energy grid resilience
- LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) developments to boost energy security

Role key duties
Leadership and management of the project and project team
Ensuring compliance to the contractual requirements
Management of project budget and schedule
Scope management and scope change reporting
Progress and schedule management and reporting
Cost management and reporting
Preparation of estimates and schedules for engineering works and projects
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience working on oil & gas and/or renewables projects
Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with relevant oil and gas codes and standards
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work in a multidiscipline team environment
Ability to work with clients to meet and exceed their requirements
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor of Engineering Degree
Experience in brownfield engineering, upgrades, modifications and remedial works
Experience in leading, motivating, teaching and mentoring small engineering teams
Right to work in Australia (visa sponsorship may be available for exceptional candidates)
NER and RPEQ registration
