The Role:

As the Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and evolving our cutting-edge renewable energy asset portfolio and new product offerings. You will be required to work closely and collaborate regularly with our Energy and Technology teams to create groundbreaking solutions across diverse sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design, delivery, and management of Prospecta's Virtual Power Plant program across a contracted pipeline of works
• Lead the development of detailed energy storage system designs, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency and compliance with regulations.
• Strategically integrate energy storage solutions maximizing resilience for clients and better commercial outcomes.
• Conduct high-level site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate solar potential, shading analysis, and energy consumption patterns.
• Ensure designs adhere to industry standards and elevate company quality guidelines.
• Estimate works for electrical installations, demonstrating strategic leadership and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for comprehensive and effective solar and battery solutions, and strategic partnerships.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices, enhancing Prospecta's capabilities and promoting publicly when required.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• CEC Accredited Design qualifications.
• Proven expertise in solar PV system design, with knowledge of relevant software tools.
• Familiarity with battery energy storage systems and their integration with solar installations.
• Proven project management experience across multi-faceted or large-scale renewables projects (PMP/PMI highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of Australian regulations and standards in solar and energy storage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• RPEQ highly regarded.
