Our client is a leading gold company with world class assets producing gold, copper, silver, zinc, and lead both within Australia and internationally.
The company is seeking a motivated Senior Project Engineer - SMP to join their engineering team in their Perth office.
The primary focus on the role is to provide engineering support and work closely with Regional Study Managers to effectively manage major studies within each of the regional areas.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide Project Engineering leadership.
- Monitor Project Engineering progress and facilitate meetings.
- Provide and coordinate expert technical reviews.
- Coordinate study phases to ensure project delivery.
- Develop technical documentation.
To be successful we require:
- A relevant engineering degree.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar or capital works environment which will include Project Engineering on large scale complex projects.
- Strong communication, leadership & interpersonal skills
- The ability to articulate complex projects and develop & deliver presentations.
- The ability to "think outside the box".
This is a fixed term one year contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. It operates on a 5/2 Perth based roster and offers excellent remuneration.
