Senior Project Engineer for the construction and delivery of a new transition tower in Rockingham, WA.
Permanent, Monday to Friday local role.
NO FIFO.
The Project Manager will offer assistance to this position, which entails close collaboration with on-site staff to ensure the timely completion of projects and the delivery of work of high quality. Any necessary training will be provided.
The ideal candidate should have experience or exposure to structural and civil projects, especially in coordination with Water Infrastructure governing bodies, to ensure alignment with client expectations, company goals, and contractual requirements.
The selected candidate will work alongside a skilled and efficient team, gaining exposure to diverse projects that will enhance both technical skills and project management capabilities over time. Outstanding performance will open up opportunities for advancement into Senior Project roles.
Vehicle + Fuel Card + Mobile + Laptop provided
Works will include:
Construction of a 30 meter high Transition Tower including precast and insitu concrete elements.
Underground Pipeworks (1700 dia) including significant temporary stabilisation, Dewatering and Large pit structures.
Installation of Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, SCADA and Security installations including relevant connection to existing services.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing support during the tender stage of proposal, the role will then move to be on-site where required.
Construction management including all necessary works co-ordination and scheduling, resource allocation, direct supervision and inspections.
Technical deliverables including project management plans, construction schedule & QAQC documentation (ITPs, field inspections, MDR etc)
Supplier and sub-contract procurement and management.
Financial management including budget preparation, job-costing, preparing & monitoring cost to complete, profit forecasting etc.
Implementation and reporting against KPI’s and other contract / company deliverables.
HSE management and planning (management plans, CRAW etc) to incident response including investigation.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Degree in Civil Engineering
Nine years + of experience required.
Previous experience in concrete structure projects
Experience on Water Corporation projects and construction (desirable)
Demonstrated experience in cost, procurement and quality management.
Demonstrated commercial acumen
Strong communication and planning skills
Experience using Microsoft Project, AutoCAD and Jobpac are desirable.
Demonstrated experience in effective HSQE management
