Salary: Up to $200,000 package per year

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their team on an education project in the Northern Beaches. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of projects on behalf of our clients government clients. The project is a creative arts building in a school located in the Northern Beaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project works projects, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Lead a team of engineers and other professionals in the design and implementation of the project.
• Review and approve project plans, specifications, and budgets.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies as required.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements for new laboratory and fitout works projects are met.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience working your way up from a Site Engineer.
• Strong engineering competency with previous experience on Services / Façade / Structures
• Experience working on government projects is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experienced leading coordination meetings and managing junior engineers within team.
