The role...
You will be a proactive and motivated performer with a proven track-record in a geotechnical consultancy environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Scope and write proposals.
- Manage and deliver geotechnical investigation and design projects.
- Carrying out assessment and interpretation of field results and laboratory test data.
- Write/review factual and interpretive geotechnical reports with appropriate geotechnical recommendations.
- Carrying out in-house geotechnical analysis and design using manual calculations and computer programs as appropriate. Modelling experience with 2D and 3D FEM packages will be an advantage.
- Liaison with clients, regulators, staff, and sub consultants.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Identify and develop new clients and market opportunities.
Your Qualifications, Experience and Attributes...
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with an advancing mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
- Tertiary qualifications in civil / Geotechnical Engineering or engineering geology.
- Ideally you will have at least 10 years’ experience in a geotechnical consultancy – preference will be given to experience in the Sydney market.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining strong client relationships. The ability to identify and develop new business opportunities will be highly regarded.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Have full rights to work and live in Australia and hold current drivers’ licence.
