Airswift is looking for an experienced Senior Project HSE Advisor to join our top-tier EPC client on a 6-month contract in Perth, CBD for a significant iron ore project led by a Tier 1 operator.
In this role, your duties will include but not limited to:
- Offering guidance to site contractors and supervisors on Critical Risk Management.
- Ensuring adherence to relevant health and safety regulations.
- Conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and providing formal reports.
- Performing Post Mobilisation/Periodic Contractor Assessments as per the Construction Health and Safety Management Plan and participating in the review of Construction Risk Assessment documentation.
- Attending H&S Daily meeting with the EPCM HS Team, weekly progress meeting and attendance at Site fortnightly HS Committee Meetings.
- Conduct plant inspections and site walkarounds regularly.
- Monitoring and examining traveller activity in JESI.

About you
- Previous experience as a Senior HS Advisor within the construction or mining sector, ideally in iron ore.
- Thorough understanding of pertinent health and safety legislation and standards.
- Possession of relevant professional qualifications and experience in health and safety advisory roles within the mining resources or mining construction sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects of diverse sizes and complexities.
- Strong proficiency in iron ore project safety systems.
