The successful candidate for this Senior Project Manager position will join our growing project team and will report directly into the Head of Projects. To excel in this role you’ll have extensive web dev project management experience, be a team player, and be able to operate and manage projects autonomously while being supported and guided.

The senior project manager is the key point of contact for driving the project and ongoing design and development work forward, managing stakeholder engagement and ensuring that the project stays within budget and is completed on time. Senior Project managers handle the "project life cycle" and ongoing retainers to deliver the best outcome to our clients plus work with the clients to suggest strategic improvement to enhance their ecommerce business.

• Overall responsibility to ensure projects and retainer work are consistently delivered on time and within scope and budget
• Analysing project requirements and preparing budgets and schedules.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Successfully manage multiple concurrent projects, including planning schedules, budgeting & estimating and resource allocation.
• Attend discovery workshops supported by business analysts, design and technical leads.
• Responsible for scope requirements (business, functional, technical); working with the design & technical leads to keep project delivery within scope and budget
• Using content management systems and project management software.
• Aligning strategies with overall business goals.
• Following Moustache Republic project management and managed services processes
• Effectively identify and manage project issues, risks and escalate where required.
• Keeping up-to-date with ecommerce technology
• Proactively suggest strategic improvements to enhance clients ecommerce business.
• Mentor and guide junior delivery managers and assist the head of projects achieve PMO goals.
   

• 4+ years of proven experience in a similar role within a Digital Agency managing multiple website projects in parallel for medium-large sized clients.
• Experience with the end-to-end process of website delivery.
• The ability to plan and manage project budgets, resources and timescales.
• Experience working on both large and small budget projects ranging from $70K up to $300k+
• A good technical understanding of websites.
• Excellent communication along with strong negotiation and risk management skills.
• The ability to manage stakeholder expectations across all your projects ensuring the scope of work is fully understood.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento.
• Experience in working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet/Microsoft project, Google Workspace.
• The ability to articulate complex concepts and ideas in a simple manner to non-specialist audiences.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferable to have certification in PMP, Prince 2, or Certified scrum master.
