The Role
Reporting to the Program Manager –Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program and based in Windsor, the purposeof this position is to successfully deliver the Western Sydney InfrastructureGrant Program of works (formerly WestInvest), whilst fostering a positiveexperience and relationship with stakeholders and the community.
About You
You will be a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background deliveringcivil projects including road and drainage works, development of minor andmajor structure works, community facilities, aquatic and leisure facilities andsporting facilities. You will be an effective communicator with the ability to buildrelationships with a broad range of stakeholders and will have demonstratedanalytical, leadership and supervisory skills which will set you up for successin this position.
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering,Building Construction or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in project planningand management
- Substantial practical experience in design andconstruction management for Civil related works
- Demonstrated ability to control/management ofproject budgets
- Demonstrated experience supervising day labourand contractors
- Demonstrated experience with preparation andadministration of tender and contract documentation
- Sound knowledge of Local Government proceduresand pertinent legislation
- Strong computer literacy and experience in theuse of Microsoft Office applications
- Class C Drivers Licence
- WorkCover WHS General Induction forConstruction Work in NSW
