About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated and focused individual to join our high-performing Project Management team. Reporting to the Head of Project Management, this role is responsible for the effective management and delivery of a large range of programs and projects in accordance with our corporate project management framework and our agile delivery framework. Key to this role is the ability to learn, share and grow as you manage multiple projects, working with all internal and external stakeholders to expand our product and customer base. Essential to your success is adherence to Indue’s best practice delivery framework, ensuring stakeholders are informed, engaged, and have appropriate expectations throughout the course of the project.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Engage all relevant internal and external stakeholders and ensure transparent communication throughout the project delivery
- Deliver complex projects through the project life cycle from initiation, execution to closure, focussing on scope definition, resourcing, budget, supplier and client management, risks, and issues
- Manage and Control Sponsor and Executive expectations via transparent reporting and timely maintenance of key project management artefacts
With the team's track record for delivering high-quality outcomes, you will work within an established project management structure to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget. Projects typically entail the implementation of financial payment product combinations for Card programs, real-time payments, and financial crimes initiatives.
About You
You will utilise your Senior Project management experience in a fun collaborative team environment to oversee the delivery of a range of projects, whether it’s onboarding new clients, delivering new product features or ensuring our products remain current and compliant. You will also bring your extensive experience and knowledge to share with your peers and contribute to the continuous improvement of the PM Practice. You will work closely with Indue clients, vendors and internal stakeholders throughout each project; ensuring they are effectively managed, engaged and informed at all stages to deliver projects from initiation to closure.
You will have all or majority of the following skills and attributes:
- 7+ years’ experience in a similar role ideally within the financial services and payments industry
- Formal qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Business, IT or Project Management, or relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, manage and deliver high-complexity projects to time, quality and cost criteria
- Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and manage varied client and stakeholder relationships and expectations. This includes the ability to communicate effectively and to influence others.
- Extensive experience working in complex technical environments using formal project methodologies, including PMBOK, Prince2 and Agile.
- Advanced understanding and experience delivering the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate-level skills in the day-to-day use of typical Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong Microsoft Project experience
- Specific understanding and experience in delivering payments products (specifically including cards, transactional business and financial crimes products)
The following experience and qualifications will be highly regarded:
- Experience delivering payments projects or financial sector projects – ideally in Card Issuing, Transactional Processing, New Payment Platform (NPP), AML, SWIFT ISO20022 and AML
- Project Management Professional certification or similar
- Use of Project Management Tool such as MS Project Online (PPM)
- Proven experience in Agile principles, ceremonies and ways of working.
- Exposure to ITIL or IT Service Management processes in general.
- Mobile banking channel exposure.
- Knowledge of, and experience with Direct Entry (DE), BPAY, RTGS and settlement services.
- Experience delivering external client projects
- Working knowledge of the PCI-DSS standard
