About Our Client:

Our client, located in Woolner Darwin, is one Australia's largest privately owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations. As a national business, they operate from city centre's through to remote locations, and employ over 900 people Australia-wide. We are currently recruiting a Senior Project Manager. 

About the Role:

• Permanent role
• M-F 8hrs per day
• Will be required to go to site, however predominately Darwin office based
• Assistance with relocation costs
• Great working conditions with a reputable company

Reporting to the General Manager, your main responsibilities will be to manage high profile building, civil, environmental / remediation projects, demolition / decommissioning and work closely with Senior Management and the project team, to ensure high quality project delivery outcomes.
  
To be successful for this role you will need the following:

• Experience across multiple disciplines, with proven commercial, contractual, and HR management skills.
• Proven track record of the successful project delivery of several projects at any one time
• Achievement of project tendered margins, whilst maintaining client relationships
• Competent technical, planning, and financial management skills
• Proven knowledge and understanding of achieving occupational health and safety principles and industrial relations management.
• Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound computer literacy skills in relevant fields including Company accounting software, MS Project, MS Office and Outlook
• Sound technical knowledge across a wide range of skillsets, trade disciplines and project lifecycles.
• Excellent time management including prioritisation and delegation of project tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, manage and resolve issues as they arise during a project.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years construction and/ or project management experience
• Registered builder’s certification preferred.
• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Building, Economics or equivalent
