The Company
This civil contractor turns over circa $150 million p.a and growth is happening. There is a plan to take it to $250 million p.a and you will form the layer between GM and the Project Managers.
Their success, from humble beginnings, is built on making the right decisions and that is paramount to how they move forward.
The company has passed the phase of ‘small business’. The MD is there but doesn’t micro-manage or double check everything. He has relinquished his everyday ‘grip’, and the business moves forward with a SLT of exemplary backgrounds.
The General Manager is youthful, commercially astute and driven. He needs you to bring good technical knowledge, a deep market understanding and outstanding people leadership to his arm of the business to achieve challenging but realistic growth targets.
Your suitability
For your success you need a minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager in civil infrastructure space in Australia for a civil contractor. You must have more to your armoury than just delivering projects. You must be cut out for a position as Construction Manager/Operations Manager and ready for that step up.
You back yourself. They will back you… Everyone comes out on top.
