The Role
Reporting to the Remediation team Program Manager, you will lead a team of experts and manage end to end numerous complex and simultaneous deliverables. A driven team player, you will deliver outcomes within the required timeframes, in line with the agreed program of work.
Key Responsibilities:
Your strong delivery background and understanding of the Wealth industry will be needed to provide thought leadership and constructive challenge to ensure we are doing the right work, in the right way for the right outcomes and at the right time.
You will build the right team and capability to deliver the business outcomes for the business in a way that aligns with the remediation delivery model.
Collaborate with and influence the broader team to deliver shared goals and support a cultural and behavioural shift that embraces prioritisation and iterative delivery.
Influence stakeholders (Business and Technology) to support the maturing of remediation delivery principles and practices in Wealth.
Understand the remediation issues, determine remediation methodology for impacted customers and plan all execution activities.
Develop the end-to-end remediation activities and drive delivery of the outcomes - set realistic achievable remediation projects that put our members / clients’ requirements first.
Ensure all remediation principles are aligned to the Remediation Policy and existing program delivery methodologies are followed.
Develop robust and achievable project plans including management of timescales, scope, risks and budgets.
Track, manage and prioritise workflow to agreed outcomes
Develop and mentor team members, provide team leadership, guidance, and support
Workshop facilitation where required.
Produce and maintain effective, status and board reporting.
Stakeholder engagement management and facilitation of successful outcomes for all stakeholders.
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:
Proven project delivery experience in remediation across large member groups is essential
Understanding of IDPS, Wrap, super, pensions and Master Trusts products, business processes, the regulatory environment and legal principles would be beneficial.
Proven ability to lead multiple streams of work with competing priorities
5+ years working in the Wealth Management industry
3+ years leadership of multi-location teams experience
Excellent stakeholder management.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams (including virtual teams)
Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
Attention to detail.
Conflict resolution skills.
Solid understanding of our regulatory environment.
Tertiary qualified in areas of Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or Technology (desirable)
Project Management Methodologies (PMBOK and / or Agile) (desirable)
Other Qualification/s such as:
Registered Project Manager / Diploma of Project Management (desirable)
PMP certification / Agile certification (desirable)
