The projects include delivery of Open Space, Sports complexes, amenities and community infrastructure buildings to meet the demands of a rapidly growing LGA. You will use your project management experience to manage and lead design consultants and contractors to ensure projects meet community expectations. • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive senior experience in the design, estimation and delivery of Open Space and Building Projects
• Demonstrated ability to manage design projects and achieve outcomes within budget and to defined timelines
• Excellent communication skills including written and oral and the ability to relate well to internal and external clients
• Ability to work within and to foster team cooperation and achievement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications.

Desirable:

• Demonstrated experience in managing delivery of large open space and building projects
• Good negotiation and dispute resolution skills
• Understanding of community consultation required for major civil projects
• Understanding of requirements and processes to acquire land required for major civil projects
• Local Government or similar experience
