Looking for a Senior Project Officer role that allows you to make a real impact on human resources management? Join our dynamic team at the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) and work directly with the Chief Human Resources Officer as part of our People and Culture Branch.
As the Senior Project Officer, you will take charge of developing and reviewing a range of documents that provide policy direction and guidance to managers and employees. From corporate policies and protocols to key projects, your expertise will shape the future of our organisation.

Selection Criteria

Please refer to the ‘How to Apply’ section of this advertisement for application instructions. * Proven track record in undertaking projects relevant to human resource management, delivering successful outcomes within tight deadlines.

  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, including proven ability to prepare written submissions and policies, maintain effective stakeholder relationships, influence others and negotiate outcomes.
  • Demonstrated highly developed research, conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to provide innovative solutions to strategic and complex problems and issues.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant HR legislative and regulatory frameworks.
Note: The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current (issue date not older than 6 months) and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
