Are you ready for a challenge that merges your project management experience and professional excellence? The Northern Land Council (NLC) has multiple vacancies for Senior Project Officers (SPO) within its Resources and Energy Team.
- Location: Darwin.
- Status: Full-time Ongoing.
- Working knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislation affecting Aboriginal land and sea management including ALRA and the NTA.
- Proven experience in consultation, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and mediation techniques and practices.
- High level cross cultural, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient ICT literacy skills including familiarity with Content Management Systems, Microsoft Office 365 and associated software.
- A degree in a relevant discipline such as Geology, Engineering, Sociology, Anthropology, business or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar role, including project management.
- Previous experience in at least one of these sectors: onshore petroleum; energy and /or minerals is a plus.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence and the ability to travel remotely via 4wd and light aircraft.

- These positions are classified under our Enterprise Agreement from:
- Senior Officer Grade C (SOGC) with a commencing base salary of $95,110 per annum to Senior Officer Grade B (SOGB), with a commencing base salary of $106,708 per annum..
- 14% superannuation.
- District allowance starting at $2,539 per annum.
- Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2,724.
- Generous leave entitlements such as 5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 18 days personal leave, and paid Christmas close down.
- Salary packaging benefits of up to $15,900 and additional Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.
