Joining a large team within Operations Services projects based across WA, you will assist Project Leaders and Project Coordinators to co-ordinate and manage capital and non- capital projects. Working in line with the objectives of stakeholders you will assist in ensuring projects are completed on time, to budget and within technical and quality standards.
No two days are the same in this diverse role, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow stepping up when required and building your project management skills in a supportive and processes driven environment.
This role is available to local residents of Karratha, Bunbury and Albany.
What you'll do
- Coordinate the administration of the delivery of Capital and Non-Capital projects within the Region
- Ensure Project management resources are negotiated to enable delivery of the full program of works
- Provide advice on how to effectively manage and deliver the administration support for the Region’s program of capital and non-capital projects
- Lead the regular review of the Regions program to ensure the program remains within budget constraints.
- Coordinate the prioritisation of urgent projects / works as necessary
- Assist with the preparation of project reports as required
Key skills and previous experience
To be successful in this role you will have experience in providing project management services including tendering and contract award processes and contract administration.
You have exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels including with vendors and customers.
Experience in Microsoft programs, Power Bi and SAP preferred, with the ability to deep dive into data to provide thorough reporting a bonus.
